Founded in 2006, Intrahost was created as a part of the Intragroup family, a group already renowned for its specialised approach to IT solutions and trading ever since its formation in 2000.
Intrahost's founding purpose was to offer specialised server hosting and web hosting services for UK based organisations.
Intrahost’s first 12 months saw not only rapid growth, but also expansion into many new areas of hosting, such as application hosting and virtual server hosting.
Back in 2007, we launched our “Go Green” initiative, which extended Intrahost’s environmentally-friendly work by introducing a number of green products and incentives, we also actively reduced our carbon footprint and increased our participation in schemes to replace the Earth’s resources which we consume in providing our services.
Intrahost continued to expand further by delivering new economical and environmentally-friendly products with the launch of our Cloud Server hosting, enabling customers to use highly scalable resources on demand.
In November 2010, we acquired GoCloud Ltd, a leading provider of
hosted desktop services to UK businesses.
In May 2011, we introduced our Hosted Exchange service. Built on Microsoft Exchange Server, Hosted Exchange allows users to access emails, calendars, tasks, notes, etc. remotely from PCs, Macs and a variety of mobile devices including: iPhones, iPads and Smartphones.
In December 2012, we achieved the ISO9001:2008 Quality Management Standard, reflecting our commitment to providing our customers with a great service and minimum downtime.
