A dedicated server is a physical network-grade computer optimised to 'serve' web pages, database queries, etc. to end-users. Intrahost dedicated servers are mounted in a tall rack/cabinet in one of our UK data centres.

Provided it’s in line with our terms and conditions you can use your server for whatever you like – whether it be developing websites for other people, hosting your business website or even setting up an online store. Please note that we are only able to offer support for the server and the applications it is supplied with.
Yes. You get full administrative access to your dedicated server. You have full control, but please note that you are responsible for any changes that you make. If you are unsure, ask Intrahost about our optional Full Server Management service.
Yes. You can add additional memory, if it is an available option. MS-SQL server can also be installed after initial installation. The CPU cannot be upgraded, although you may be able to upgrade to a higher spec. server before the end of your contract. Hard Disk upgrades will usually require re-installing the Operating System.
We keep a quantity of servers in stock, which means we should have your server online often with 48 hours, but during busy times it may take a little longer.
